Pre-Session Integrity Audits
Opening an old session only to find missing audio files or broken sample links ruins creative momentum. Sabes Pro scans your project structure automatically during Take capture to ensure every referenced asset exists and is indexed.
Audited Components
- Media Stem Verification: Scans all referenced audio files to confirm physical presence on disk.
- Plugin Path Audits: Scans for VST3/AU/AAX plugins used in the project and flags any that are missing from your workstation. (Support varies by DAW; see breakdown below).
- Corruption Warnings: Detects unexpected binary header drift or truncated project saves before you close your DAW.
Plugin Dependency Support by DAW
Because DAWs use different session storage methods, plugin path tracking is implemented as follows:
- Cockos REAPER and FL Studio: Full plugin dependency tracking is active and verified. Sabes Pro reads the FX chain data directly from your project saves and lists every third party plugin in the Take details panel.
- Ableton Live: Plugin tracking is planned but not yet supported. The parser currently extracts track counts and tempo metrics; VST/AU device chain indexing is a planned future addition.
- Pro Tools, Cubase, and Nuendo: Basic Tracking only. These formats are permanent saves-only configurations. They track save events and media file locations but do not scan or catalog track insert plugins.
